1.My name is Graham
2. I've been in the hobby since about 1980
3. Ive been keeping Crenicichla since about 1998
4. Currently I'm keeping Dwarf pikes, and have 21 at the moment
5. Pike species : regani, regani (barcelos), compressiceps, notophthalmus.
6. They are housed each, with a species of Satanoperca, so they get what they get, so, frozen bloodworm, mysis, artemia, and chopped prawns and mussels. They also get Tetra prima, granular promin, spirulina flakes, and live daphnia.
They are fed 4 times a day
7. It takes any new pikes around 24 hours to gain their proper colours
8.Most bought at 3 inch now 4 inch or so
9.My favourite pike is probably C. Regani, but C. Cametana pushes it close
10. My 8 tanks are 6 @ 48 x 15 x 18, with 2 more @ 40 x 15 x 18, hence why I now keep dwarf pikes

Just spawned my C.regani (Rio negro), they have about 100 fry free swimming. Spawning ph was 5.5ph and 2gh. Spawned in a 40 x 15 x18 tank, with S.leucosticta and rams as tank mates.
Spawned them quite a few times.
I also have C.regani barcelos and purus in other tanks, think the barcelos will spawn within next month
