Getting A 55 Gallon Saltwater...Change to Fresh?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Most SW eels include octopus at the very top of their favorite foods lists. You could use grass eels or ribbon eels in an aquarium. Ribbon eels are extremely difficult to maintain and most die of starvation in aquaria (and may be prey to octis). Grass eels are difficult to find and hide constantly in aquaria (they'll also become prey to octis).

Geez, I can't even pick out SW Fish that won't make my life complicated. At this point I'd like to open ideas to everybody for what I should put in the tank. Everybody likes to eat everybody. Think I could get away with sneaking out my house, eating my neighbor and coming back? Haha.

hahahahahhahahahah

how about take the tank as it is and build on it from there, nothing better than buying someones hard work to set up a good foundation. saves you the time and money to do it.

Sw fish are very fun to watch and definitely you want agressive trust me sw can be more of a pistol than fw, time will show you!!!

edit:though with the cost of sw fish you might want to keep that from happening as they tend to be expensive feeders.

Octopus are very difficult to care for and seahorses are even harder; i wouldn't recommend either for a beginner or intermediate skill level. You might be able to do a SW snowflake moray in a 75gallon but to be honest I think thats pushing it, they get pretty big.
