The Canuck, I definately like your idea of a tank. However, please keep in mind I'm using a 55 gallon not 310 :)
Can anything go in a 55 gallon with a Lionfish?

A small trigger. A lion fish would need a 100 gallon atleast by itself when full grown. I would do some searches on SW fish and their maximum lengths. you could have a mini version of my tank.;)

In a 55, I'd suggest one of the dwarf lion species. A stock 55 is only about a foot front to back. A Pterois volitans grows to over 15" in length and the same, or more, in fin spread.

I was looking through different species and a few of them 2 or 3 said minimum required is a 55-60 gallon, and they are only like 30 bucks (Not Counting Shipping). What would be a small version of your tank, cause I was loving your setup very nice. I love carnivores :)

Maybe thats what I was looking at was the dwarf.

EDIT: Yeah, that's what I was looking at was dwarf Lionfish, maybe with some eels and possibly a few other carnivorous semi-agressive fish to go with it. Triggers maybe? Throw in a Star fish?

A starfish with triggers=bye-bye starfish.

A lionfish, some eels, and a few other carnivorous fish will result in a very difficult to maintain overstocked aquarium. With a lion, you'd have to get one of the more placid triggers if you wish to save the ray extentions on the lions fins. A niger trigger would fit the bill but, grows way too large for a 55 with even half that stock list.

Well, what I really meant was One Lionfish, One Eel, and something else, not sure what. Wanna make sure I'm getting the most of my SW Tank. I found a compatibility chart that I have been looking at to give me some ideas of what I can keep together.
