then should i get 1 1/4" pvc cause im getting a 642gph pump http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=TA3148

This pump will only give you about 300~350 gph in your setup. You will be lifting the water about 4-1/2 feet.. You loose more power the higher you go.. The 642 is at ZERO rise.. One 1 inch pvc should do.. 1-1/4 inch would give you like 900~1000 gph max out, not needed but not exacly over-kill either.. won't be a visual issue, you can barely tell the difference.

well i spent the day building my stand, the frame is almost done just need to add 2 supports. i forgot to take pictures of the building prosses but i got the final result.

i would get a mag pump if i were you. they are more reliable than rios imo. stand looks awsome the fuge my buddy built out of a 29gallon tank has 1200gph running through it on his 75 reef. so if you were to use a tank for a wet dry i would go with that or bigger. good luck keep pics coming

good, I'm looking for a 75 deal like that!

haha well you missed the sale, ended yesterday. talk to BigPleco he is selling a 75gallon tank

i can get a 75gallon for 98.00dollars. Aquriuam Adventure is sooooo..... over price on their stuff!(like 3-5times what they bought it for.) I been there, done that and even talk to the owner of Aquriuam Adventure buisnise. the One that is in my City is the largest and even their headquarters.

I did had 100lbs of Play sand in my 75gallon tank before. I got it preclean already in a plastic bag at lowes hardware store,(i will never do that again! the sand, it destroyed 2 of my 110 water filters...) and it took about a week for the sand to settle. I had about close to 200pounds of decorating stones when i use to work for a stucco company. i had 10, 5-6inch convicts (convicts they need alot of space even in alot of 200lbs stones full of hiding spots!) (it is like putting 10male lions together; they always were fighting and the winner always end up with big heads like fontosas chiclids) I pulled Poop from the bottom of my tank, It was mixed with sand it came from one of my catfish. It was had as a stinky rock!
