Didn't you read? He said fish would be happier with more space. Releasing them into the Amazon - the biggest, though not the longest, river in the world - would be doing them a massive favour, going by what he said.

He never said a river would be neccessary, if you want to be like that why don't you fly to brazil and release ur fish there?

man i know you dont want anybody tell you that you need a bigger tank for those fish cuz you know better but come on! seriously for the fishes sake put them in the bigger tank the fish will NOT be unhappy!!!

Furthermore, look at the quote below. Despite this disclaimer, passionate 4 pikes still tried to be childish by telling him to put his fish in a bigger tank. What purpose did that serve, to the OP and to everyone else? I can tell you for certain that it annoyed me, especially with all the recent gibberish about fixed rules for fishkeeping.

Maybe not for life, but definately for awhile. I'm fairly confident that I could keep them in there for life with little to no other fish, however.
Certainly not my BGK, though.
