getting everything together for baby paints

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i finally decided to leave them in their set up over night and they are fine....:headbang2:headbang2:Dthanks everyone

Liz as they get bigger, what you can do is setup a cork flat platform for them to sun themselves in, that dock will hold them for now, but as they age and get bigger... youll need something that can handle the larger size. Those are sharp turtes. Well done

thanks i will ask you about it then.... these docks do come bigger too and of course i will eventually go bigger with tank too.... :D

Anytime I've kept painted turtles, they've eaten anything they can catch, but fast fish like giant danios, tiger barbs and stuff like that usually survive. But when the lights go out, the turts usually win.

They look great. You could always put a 10 watt or less red bulb over tank at night if your worried about them not seeing .

Dont they eat the plants?

i did not want them to drown when they were first in there new home.. get stuck under the platform or something.. they seem to be doing great so i left things as they were..
