Hey guys, I am getting a Garter Snake later this week. Now I understand that live food comes with the territory but it is in the best interest of me and my family to try to get him on prepared or frozen foods. I saw a video on youtube of someone feeding 5-6 Garters Tilapia fillets...they were 5 separate Snakes, so I know it's not a fluke... I also remember reading that Garter Snakes are drawn even to dead fish, like Silversides and Shiners. Also, if the Snake prefers worms (the live foo that I might end up using) does anyone know eher I can find frozen ones to convert it to? I always try to avoid using live foods, but if it's between the death of a feeder worm and starvation of an animal that I own, I'd pick the first one.
