My 265 gal was a perfect fit through the front door but it weighs a F_____ ton it took five guys to get it in place

5 guys!! I just carried my new 270 gal from my truck, up 3 steps, and into my fishroom. Granted, my privates are in my sock now but, I was able to manipulate the tank by myself. I guess it helps to be 6'4" and 245lbs.

Tell me about it. My last move included 34 crated fishtanks and 24 boxed tanks. Household goods weighed in at 35,000 pounds (not including my vehicles). All that for a one-person move. Cost to my company...$75,000.00

a buddy and i moved my 8ft 240 alone, as its acrylic , it was lighter then his 150glass, eeep now that thing sucked!!

I guess you get 'em in any way you can! I always want people helping me carry tanks if I can get the help just for safety, even if I am able to move it myself I just get paranoid about breaking it,
