Seems to have settled In fine already chasing my JD around in true jardini style , fins are looking slightly frayed around the edges because of the slight difference in pH between the tanks , I've put some coral in filter bag to up it slightly and gradually , my big tank drops quite quickly because of the chunk of bogwood I presume

Nice my jardini for some reason likes smaller tanks over bigger tanks and won't beg and is really skittish in larger tanks but begs for food in a 10 or 20 gallon... He's about 6 inches lol I'm hoping in a month when he's a 8 inches he'll turn more interactive

I am a big fan of Hikari carni sticks. I have had all my baby aros eat them including a jar. Try just breaking a chunk off of one. They soften as soon as they touch water, so the texture should not be a problem.

Thanks Rodger he's hammering them on a daily basis now I've been giving him about ten at a time but there not the jumbo ones yet ;):D
My last jar wouldn't touch any other pellet I tried him on except those and fresh foods , it used to cost me a fortune because my LFS only sold 57g bags at the time

Thanks :) , If he's skittish in bigger tanks try putting floating plants for a bit of cover , I've found the plastic pond style Lilly's work well for this as there quite big and don't fry under lights like real ones

Yeah I floating plants tried but he still darted around. Didn't eat even half as much in a 20 gallon. I think he feels more secure in a smaller tank and he begs for food so that's where he'll stay for a bit

Try putting a divider in and gradually moving it making his space bigger , its just an idea that could ease him into bigger spaces
