Getting rays directly from an exporter

Have you ever talked with Dave at all ?? I know that he used to import awhile back, he has lots of knowledge on this kind of stuff.

Mike- I have talked with dave, not about exporting though. I actually bought one of his 450's. 6ftx6ftx20in. Great ray tank, huh? Just no place to put it :nilly: LOL. When I go pick it up from him I will be sure to ask.

Wow what did that tank cost ya? Have always heard great things about Big Dave's Rays. That is an incredibly awesoem footprint for a ray tank.
 
Tank cost $550. 2 of the sides of the acrylic are pretty hazy that is why the price is so low. But I don't really mind. As long as I can see into 1 of the sides I will be fine. :) He has another identical tank that is is perfect condition that he is selling for I believe $1200
 
I think the next tank I have built will be 144X72X36 hmmm where the hell will I put it? I can't wait to see when you have the tank set up be sure to post pictures! Not sure how you go about getting a license to import I know Miles was able to obtain one at some point maybe try messaging him or I will ask him when I talk to him.

Its illegal to buy from a wholesaler unless your a vendor. I work for a wholesaler so we cant let anyone who is not a vendor purchase from us.

Its not to the point that it is illegal. It's just that wholesalers usually wont sell to individual hobbyists if there are vendors in their area to prevent spoiling the vendor's business. There are plenty of wholesalers that do sales to individuals.
