Not sure if this happens with the pigs but happened with my Rabbit... We were feeding him TOO much greens and he wasn't able to digest it right or something? and his feces would come out and basically get stuck to his butt hair and what the pet store called "poopy butt" so we had to cut back on the greens a bit but i'm not sure if this applies to guinea pigs as well.

wonder if i can litter train the guineas? if so, i may let them roam the apt like my cat does ( well after they are litter trained, if its at all possible )
so then would they be like a cat, meaning going in the litterbox when needed? and able to roam the apt?
Good luck with your new pets. Two guinea pigs and a cage for $10. Wonder why you got them so cheap? You'll find out soon enough. LOL! Noisy, messy, smelly, but cute. Live for 5-7 years. Many end up in animal shelters.
And he delivered everything too. That should tell you something.
All they do is eat, piss and crap, its amazing.
You need to change the shavings often, your whole apartment will smell like piss, especially with two.
They are cute and docile though, good luck with them.
