Broke up with a girlfriend after 6 years, thought I"d marry her. Turned into a total ***** after we split. Two peices of advice.
Don't talk to her anymore if you were especially attached, it will just put you through hell and mess with your head.
Find things to occupy your time over the next few months.
I went into a pretty deep depression when mine left - but continued talking with her for a good year afterward, I didn't get any clarity in life until I finally stopped talking with her altogether.
I'm now happily married.
