Finally I can show my boyfriend proof that I'm not insane for suggesting using a Rubbermaid tub as a quarantine or hospital tank.

But would it be possible to attach a tube to a powerhead and use that to pump water from a kiddie pool into a DIY filter? Wanted to check before i try it and blow the thing up

This thread reminded me of the early days of the filter in my 500gal paddling pool pond. All home built at a minimum cost. Pay particular attention to the genius way i get water from one filter box to the next.
