Ghost Knife eating other fish

Maybe it died and the pleco ate it? Did it seem off and have you looked on the floor, a 2-3 inch fish could easily jump out of the feeding hole of it wanted to

The pleco is only small, about 4cm. If it did, surely it would take longer then a couple of hours to eat it? I'll have to take a photo later when I get home but the feeding hole is right in the corner, and there is a rock background covering a bit of it...so I'm not sure. I'll check the floor when I get home but I feel like my doggos would have found it by now :(

There might be water residue on the floor, check for that I also had a bluegill disappear but I believe it was eaten by my yellow bullhead catfish or jumped into the backrooms

The more replies I get, the more doubtful I am that Ghosty ate it...I just can't see it going for a fish that is almost the same size instead of the betta or the tetras...or even the clown loach who is much smaller then he is.

It's also possible the small blue eyed cichlid passed and the other fish scavenged the remains.
I would normally agree, but this fish was very healthy the couple of hours before when I saw him. Swimming around happily, no signs of illness.
