Ghost knife fish compatibilitys

Hi iim just wondering if i can put my gkf in with an african ropefish without conflict?

They'll be fine together. Just provide a few hiding spots for territory for the Knife Fish.

Ok i did it but it seems like the knife keeps trying to bite my rope...

Some BGKs can be aggressive and territorial. Did you have the Knife in there before the Rope Fish? How big is the tank? Do you have a spare/temporary tank?

How big is the tank? I have 3 ropes with bgk without prob...
And how big are fishes?

Its a temporary 55g and i just put the knife in there yesterday is it just territorial disputes? And yes i plan on upgrading when they get bigger and i do have a second tank but it has about 5 mbuna chiclids in it

The knife is about 6 inches and the rope is aboit the same length but much thinner
