giant betta!!!

for the 6 to 8 inch. it got to be a pure breed giant, which is red and blue in colour. mine is a marble giant, which means that the breed is slightly being staint, and thus will only grow to a max of 4 to 5 inch.twinturbo said:

yah I had a huge lesson on the giant betta thing, a friend of mine has an uncle in Thailand and he owns a fish farm and they specalize in bettas and yes that means giant bettas also, as well as gold arowanas... he used to sell the betta fish here he made alot off them, esp. the giants they are pretty neat looking.
Wow, who knew they could be that large? can you post a pic of your 5 inch bettas next to something so we can tell how big they are ,those pics look "normal" size to me, i'm gonna check out some sites for these..........
