Giant community tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
3 florida gar - Potentially eat anything smaller. I've seen gar try to fit stuff they can't even swallow, even if they are relatively docile overall.
RTC (edit) He'll just go in the sump) - How freaking big are you talking about making a sump?
3 (feeder style) goldfish - Temperature incompatability
flowerhornxdovii - Potential severe aggression issues
Common wolffish (has good tempermant) - Yeah but how hungry is he?
1 rtc x marble cat hybrid (again asuuming he can't eat anyone) - Bad assumption :D
Silver aro - Potentially harrassed by some of your other fish, could potentially eat others
CK - See above.
Chinese algae eater - Probably make a nice snack, lol.

That's not even taking into account potential aggression issues between some of your cichlids.

How big of a tank are you talking about? You can't just say "really big" because there's a difference between public aquarium size and a 1000g tank. And btw, that mix completely defies the definition of community tank lol. More like "Catastrophic mix where only the strong/biggest survive."

I wouldn't suggest you get rid of every single smaller tank, and if so figure out something else for quarantine. You're gonna need it with this mix.

There will be all-out war and mayhem in the tank if you keep those fish together in the same tank, so many will get eaten or beaten up, it will turn into a hell hole for the fish.

You simply can't have a "community" tank with those fish, even the ones which may not kill others have completely different care and habitat preferences to other fish in the tank.

But he did say he was getting "2" BIG tanks? So that to me would potentially work providing you did infact get some very large aquariums.

I dont think you'll "find" a tank that size...

Probably have to go with a concrete build.

yeah...i'll prolly go for 3 or 4 big tanks.
This is only for a year though, until i can get the 2000 heated pond up for the cats.

SD - Could be eaten if not huge
3 (feeder style) goldfish - Will def be snacks
convict - Snacks
2 senegal bichirs - Will be slurped like noodles
Chinese algae eater - Noodles as well

W/o these fish, I think that it will be a very aggressive tank, but could work with ample space and food.

Cool.
The SD is definatly too big to be eaten (at the moment) Convict can be moved, so can the bichirs and CAE
Hey, feeder goldfish get over a foot. lol
Eh. i can just stick them and the koi in the pond. :D

:headbang2MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!:headbang2
Talk your folks into innundating the house. That might be big "enough", but don't get in the water with those gar!
