Yes :) I love them too... though they are hard to come by here... and when they are are available, the prices are very high... :(

Fortunately I managed to get a little blotched one... Channa maculata, I believe it's called... :)

Found Mrs Y feeding banana to him today, he loved it, a shame I cleaned the tank yesterday and as a result the tank is mess, never mind that's why we've got filters. It's normally crystal clear straight through hence why I took the pictures at the end of the tank to show how messed up it was:

Anything is the simple answer

The foods so far:
Lettuce
Banana
Mango
pineapple
sausages
chicken
maggot
He loves the discus beef heart mix as well
Any other left overs you could think of

Etc.

Ours gets a mango and pineapple mix chopped up once a week with lettuce as well but maggot is the future, 50p for a 3 weeks feed as long as you don't mind keeping them in the fridge and he loves them with the odd fruit thrown in it all works!!
