Huh? who doesn't fill there tanks up, I fill mine to about 1/2 past the black top rim. I wish my tank was that wide.

I love that width too. But not all my tank can afford that kinda width in the house. Space constraint....

Quick question: for a tank 10 feet long x 4 feet wide x 4 feet tall, what would be the thickness of glass required for the sides and for the bottom (which, I know, should be much thicker)?

Well, a friend of mine is planning such a tank (I wish it was me but... no funds... no space... etc). And it will be to house 2 PACU! So most probably, the tank is going to be bare-bottomed with the bottom and back side painted black, monster filtration, etc... Very spartan... the only decoration would be the fish themselves
