Giant Snakehead As Feeders?!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
CM, play nice! He can be wrong if he wants to. :raspberry
I think his logic is silly and the reason snake heads produce so many young is that damn near everything eats them including some nominal "feeder" fish. Young aros get eaten too!
Lion cubs sometimes get eaten by eagles or even jackals, wolf cubs get eaten by coyotes, that is what culls the careless ones, oops, so sorry.

But when you compair the life of a human to the life of an animal you have got something wrong....... I don't use feeders and won't keep anything that wont eat pelets but that dosen't mean that those of you that use feeders are wrong it just means that it's not right for me.

I feel sorry for Taker they are mixed up on so many things... do you think global warming is real? well if you think that we are producing too many green house gases concider that a larege volcano puts out as much as we have ever produced... to think we are so great that we can affect climate change is giving our selves more credit than we deserve.

I'ts all about the money....... remember r12? all of a sudden when duponts patent runs out it becomes bad and their newest gas is good.... why do you think the oil companies give money to the eviromentalist..... it's prevents them from having to build new refineries and then the price of gas goes up because of too little refinerey capacity.

As some once said "follow the money and things make sence".

:topic: but while we are there, the worlds largest consistant source of atmospheric methane is apparently termite farts, it is supposedly true but it cracks me up, is the cure for global warming little tiny beano tabs?

Sandtiger,
the people I have read posts from who use snakeheads as feeders are from places where they are as common as yellow suckers in your average California creek. Sarcity breeds demand but surplus lessens local value, there are places that bluegills are exotic imports, here they are a pain in the backside.

:WTF:  :WTF:  :WTF:

ya gotta b kidding?

Discovery channel did a show on global warming and they said that world wide termites are the singe biggest producer of natural methane, made as a by product when their gut bacteria break down cellulose, They said that an average tropical termite mound on the african savana can produce 2 tons of methane gas each year and it is not unusual for there to be dozens of mounds per acre.
Weird stuff like that gets stuck in my brain.

taker's just tired of getting pwned here on MFK; we know too much about fish. First he's shown how aimara destroy snakeheads, now he's shown that his favorite fish is just a feeder food, for both fish AND humans. its too much for him to handle.

be nice.

none of us know too much about fish.
anyways lets not have a replay of which fish owns who...
obviously no one can agree on that. :grinno:

well said, everyone has different thoughts, that doesnt mean you have to be a @sshole because you disagree w/ their opinons.
