added a Giant Red tail gourami (13inch), jaguar cichlid (13inch), indo dat (8inch), and an oscar (8inch).

Channa pleuros (10-11inch) removed after a week, micro chased them around every now and then but didn't bite.

johanna pike cichlid (10-11inch) went in for a minute and back out. Micro showed instant aggression, tried to bite.

added a few more fish. one of which a smaller micro the LFS was going to toss in the gutter if I didnt take. the rest of the fish have been added over past 8weeks. situation stable. no tattered fins etc.

channa will attack starting at the smallest fish if it's not been fed (ie no feeders in tank for more than 1 day). Otherwise no issues. one dead fish, indo cichlid while i was out of town. Keeping the right amount of permanant stock of feeders appears to be working.

More wood to allow barriers, territories and hiding places helps.

a bit crowded, waiting to transfer the Pbass and jaguar out later.

thanks... yea may be or if those 2 pair up. i think they're both females tho. larger micro's stopped growing at about 2ft. if it nears the 3ft mark, will probably remove most of the smaller fish.

2 large eheim buckets. Plus if you look closely there's a trough topside where the water returns from the filters before going into tank. this is filled with filter element as well. 1/4 water changes on avg every 1.5days. working on drip system, just havent hooked it up yet. either add another eheim or remove some fish. Gets real dirty around feeding time.

the tank's 8ft wide, each of those slate tiles is 2ft long.

Gulper still in there?

no didnt grow fast enough and would have ended up as food so took it out.
