giant snakehead newbie...help!!

there's no way im feeding them with my hand,i knw they are too small to chop my finger off but no risk
and i tried feeding them shrimps...they dont even go near it...i put in shrimps everyday only to clean them up later

i handfeed mine.
its kinda fun. LOL
and theyll even jump up to get the prawn.
and ive been bitten before but theyre teeth are too small. :grinno:
 
@channarox....u knw what...im gonna try hand feeding them today,i hope they dont bite me:D
@nik....im sorry mate...ur a little late,i allready fed them to my snakeheads:( i had no other food as they would only eat those loaches....they wont accept chicken liver or beef heart of even shrimps....guess they like to chase food and eat
 
Use a eyebrow plucker or tongs to hold & wiggle the shrimp in the water. Mine seems only to eat moving things near the surface.

LOL goodluck.
i just got bitten about 3 times.
 
got bit bad today....their teeth are still small but sharp like needles....scared me more than it hurt :D

are u crazy want to hand feed them!! :) i think they big enough to bite off ur finger. my suggestion is feed them with feeder fish first.
then when they reach about 10inch, train them to feed chicken fillet.
