GIGAS GIGAS on da move ^^

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Kind of amazes me that you can keep your Arowanas in a tank without a top! Or is it normally covered?

hmmmmm, I think you should invest in an algae scrubber,LOL

Hehehe :D that is not an issue - i do have a scrubber ... it is the scrubbing that is an issue. Oh well, at least algae is not harmful to the fish (extra filter too i think)

A great update. Thanks.

Thanks :D i am waiting for an update photos from home so that i can post them up. BBXB was recently moved into this set-up along with recovered green. BBXB should be cool looking as this tank is exposed to sun quite a fair bit of time

The tank is always covered. The canopy was moved because i had to catch the fish ... hmmm lots of jumping on paimas part - nobody was dropped. i am sure the experience was just as unpleasant to them as it was to me. oh well, the new set-up should last for couple of years i think

awesome tank of fish!! love the arapaimas. very envious ;-)

all the best,

Guy

thanks for your kind words - can wait for them to grow-up and catch up to my neighbors ones (would have been huge if i did not lose the last batch during winter)

How big of a pond are you going to put the Arapaimas in when they are adults.
