How big of a pond are you going to put the Arapaimas in when they are adults.

The new set-up is 3x2m footprint (10'x6.7' so that should last for awhile ... after that a pond would be in order. It does not take that long to build one. I will start planning once they reach at least 4.5'+ ... i suppose there is always my neighbors pond as a last resort ....

As to the size of the pond ... ooo i don't know, at least 10m long 3m wide - got plenty of space the backyard.

Very nice. I like that 2nd to last shot where the O is swimming next to the RTC, he looks so small.

Thanks ... the poor O is MIA presumed eaten now. he was my oldest fish in the set-up....

no more Os (the last O was the second one to go MIA)
