The main thing I am worried about is finding a girl in college (or life in general) who isn't all those bad things you just explained...Its like they are all the same but just wearing a different skin. I think at any given time if you read any girls mind at the university they are probably thinking "facebook, MTV, getting drunk". I don't think thats really girlfriend material, at least not for me. I want someone open minded with an actual personality, someone who is unique and funny, clever and logical, someone with integrity.


Well on the bright side at least I can just have more money to spend on fish and more time to spend skateboarding.

Easy solution. Find someone in class, not at a party.
 
Just do not go out and get into another relationship...

Enjoy life for a while and your new found freedom.
 
You can't EVER be too good of friends with a true life mate. Everything else fades over time. It may look bad now but things like this always work out for the best. Life is far too short for drama. You can be sure theres a lot more going on than she told you. Even if she was the first...she wont be the last no need cling desperatly to a relationship thats not working...
 
Sounds harsh but......... suck it up and move on. My guess is your a youngster so take this as life lesson # ?????? and simply move on. I deal with high school kids on a daily basis and when they have "major" breakups its always tough but............. They soon forget when the new girl/girls arrive. Four years is a long time but its better to find out now than later.

I have this skate club I started and they were sponsored by this skateshop that sponsored all my friends, and ever since they all quit the team its awkward skating there at their skatepark, pretty bad vibes, and thats the only indoor skatepark that isn't in the worst part of St Louis. Last time my friends went to Rampriders (st louis) they were lying on the ground with gun barrels fixated on the back of their heads. I hate that place almost just as much for those reasons. I will only go on lock-ins, then you can leave when the thugs go to sleep early in the morning :).
