Sterilizer would be good for keeping others away from a sensitive fish though. Fahakas will pull ich if you look at them funny. :D
this is true.:iagree:

took the royal out...left the algea eaters in there...i don't care if he eats those...plus i can't srape the algea cuz it's all over the rocks and plants

I have a better idea for removing algae in a fahaka puffer tank. Get a large (by large I mean 100+) snails, either ramshorn or mystery, and toss them in. The puffer won't be able to eat them all, and they will continue to breed, and provide a constant source of food for the puffer.

i've heard many stories of fahakas dying due to overeating so i dunno if i wanna risk that...but it's funny cuz i just bought 2 pounds of live snails at the chinese grocery store near my house...oh and i fed the bugger a live blue crab as well 1.99 a pound it was only 0.27 of a pound. (don't worry i cracked off the claws before i put it in)

I love feeding live crabs to the puffer. He loves to bite their heads off, and they hardly ever make it to the bottom of the tank.

I know they're already dead. my betta is the same way with crickets. just keeps crunching it into smaller pieces untill it goes down.
