For the top braces i wanna Put the LONG ones on 1st and a little lower and then sit my 2 side braces on top of that kinda would go together/look like to cross braces on each end but i want it to sit flush with the top you know wut i mean?

yes, it doesnt matter how you put it together, if the fron overlaps the sides or the sides overlap the front, most tanks are built with the sides overlaping the fron, look at any tank you have at home and tell me how they do it...

given the fact they you want to have the side braces overlap the lengthwise ones, then just make the top ones 23.5" long and the bottom ones 19.5" long, the tle bottom ones are sitting flush, and the top ones are sitting on or under or whatever... i would have the cross ones(bolth side and cross)flush with the top of the tank and the front and back ones 1/4" fron the top, just under all 4 braces...

OK? then if you want the bottom like in the pic and the top like you said overlapping and the tank with the mesurments from garf then you need the following...

but the long ones would have to be a 1/4" below the top for the side braces to sit flush?

this tank dont look so good... the joints are all sloppy, the tank is built from 3/8" glass, the braces on the sides where they are in this pic look like crap... not neat and tidy.
