make the measurements seperate for me lol give me top perimeter measurements for the 4 top peices and then give me the 4 Perimeter measurements for the 4 bottom dont worry bout the middle cross braces yet and yes measurments from garf /bottom payne braces like you sketched up and my top braces like in the pic with the end braces laying on top of the Long braces

but the long ones would have to be a 1/4" below the top for the side braces to sit flush?

yes your right, thats what i said.

... the side braces overlap the lengthwise ones, then just make the top ones 23.5" long and the bottom ones 19.5" long, the tle bottom ones are sitting flush, and the top ones are sitting on or under or whatever... i would have the cross ones(bolth side and cross)flush with the top of the tank and the front and back ones 1/4" fron the top, just under all 4 braces...

god i hope i didnt loose you there.

BTW, i would still go with 3 braces along the top, but the two 3" wide should do alright... just for the record...

2 of 77.5X2 <- sides pieces RIGHT under the side pieces
2 of 23.5X3 <- ALSO flush with the top for the middle of the tank

yah, it would look that way, but since its 78" long it wont look over built or anything... i would have put in one every 19", not 24, but thats just me, the side ones wont be much support to the sides since the 24" wide wont bow out that much, but it sould be atatched to the side pieces anyway to strengthen the corners. the stronger the better..., but yes it will look cool, it will look .... sufficent not to explode...

im gonna have big turtles i need the middle open so i can pull them out there gonan get 9-12 inches and they wont fit in between the cross braces you know wut i mean thats y i wanted a the 2 middle cross braces to kind of look like this with the middle open
