Glass vs Acrylic

Another point is that acrylic tank hold temperature better than glass... So if ur new tank is in some area that's cold during winter than acrylic is the way to go...

You het working on the new one yet ? How thick is it again ?

Nope.. its still sitting in the garage covered.. I have to work on the stand 1st before I can workon the tank.. but I have already brought all the plumbing for the tank.. sump is the same so I don't have to do much.. I have to raise the stand @ less 4" so I can work on the sump.. placed ur tank order yet? I don't recall whats the thickness of my new tank..
