Glassbanger for a 125?

That's a midas, it doesn't have a "v" shaped mouth so it's a midas, also midas have a chunkier build. It's a downright shame, people don't know what they are doing so they breed midas and red devils together because they think they are the same fish and it dilutes the gene pool like crazy.
But he is pretty yes? He has been in this tank forever at the lfs. It is not a very big one either and he is tormented by all the customers.

Back on topic, in a 125 you really need to eliminate dovii and umbee from your list. For a guaranteed glass banger, go with something Amphilophus. Any of the Devil/Midas/Trimac types are a sure thing.
Try not to isolate them though. A catfish and a handful of silver dollars or tinfoil barbs would help make for a better environment and a less stressed fish.

Yes that is a Midas/Red Devil, you cant ID them really from each other.
People want glassbangers because they have character. Fishaddict401 is really wrong about putting up a list of fish that are glassbangers, there are a lot more out there, africans can be glassbangers as long as they bite at the glass trying to get to you.
