Glasscage Vs Marineland/Perfecto

I am about to sell my 180 marineland tank and purchase a 240 from glasscages... they say they have starphire and regular glass aquarium...is their regualr glass the same glass quality as the marineland? and the starphire is just to view clearer??no difference in quality whatsoever?? anyone know indepth of these differences of make n quality..pls let me know! thanks!

some people love them

others..well, they have had some big tanks break..

wow...big tank break.... im sure it didnt just happen where the silicone got weak or whatever..the owner probably had an incident where some hard object flew at the tank??

hey jsodwi, how come i hear badreviews on glasscages?? is the quality same as marineland tanks??? i was looking to order that same size..300g is yours 96x30x25?
did u order it starphire or regular glass? lmk some indepth infos...cuz i heard alot of bad stuff bout glasscages

but if im paying $2305 because of freight charges...and i see bad reviews on glasscages what would make me wana spend 2305 on a tank that can come with a crack or chip on it... with bad customer service at that........hmm would you??? you must be rich huH?

you might want to consider a perfecto 265 or new 300 wide if your are hesitant about glasscages..

these two tanks are the largest in mass production right now I think

Marineland/Perfecto tanks are about as bad quality as they come and you're worried about glasscages...

imo anyway, from the tanks and glass covers that I've had and seen in comparison to All-Glass/Aqueon

Perhaps you should look into Tenecor tanks, they have a great reputation.

I do agree that All-glass (Aqueon) is better than perfecto/marineland.

their 125/150s are the only 6 foot tanks I have seen built with only ONE center brace as opposed to two like everyone else seems to use.

see, if the glass was thicker then fine, but it isn't..
