Bought my Tenecor from Andy at www.tropicalfishstore.com his prices are the lowest around. He will beat any Tenecor quote you get. I would have sold you my setup, but ive recently decided to keep it.

I called Tenecor and am awaiting a return call but can you tell us what size tank and how much it was from Tenecor?
Thanks in advance

Cool man, I'll check them out for sure. Lol...glad you decided to keep it, Lol, but damn....i definitly would have conidered buying that monster from you! That would've been my final tank for sure!

I had a 300g from them no problems at all. I had it for 4 years and sold it in January this year. The new owner has it set up with no problems either. For the price it worked out great for me. They are heavily braced. I'm wondering if all of the problems people experience is from not letting it cure for the proper amount of time before filling. You also need to make sure your stand is perfect due to them being a flat bottom tank and make sure to use the styro under it. Good luck in whatever you decide

Thanks for the info guys...i 'm definitly leaning towards Tenecor though. AS for the quote above...you may be right! A large tank MUST be LEVEL for sure. After all, It's only silicone holding these massive glass boxes full of water w/ a ton of outward pressure, just screaming to get out! I learned this the hard way!

Look around here for Tenecor reviews too, I've seen a few bad ones from them as well. Not saying they aren't good or you shouldn't use them but they aren't perfect either. I know I've read quite a few bad reviews on MFK alone. Point being, just do your research.

I think you will have good and bad reviews no matter where you go. No place will have 100% positive reviews.

I bought my tank from Tenecor. It was well packed and receiving it was a breeze. It too about 2-2.5 months for the tank to arrive. My lids were damaged during shipment and they were replaced quickly without fuss. The one thing I will say negative is that it is very hard at times to get these guys on the phone. Email seems to be fairly decent response turn-around. Overall, I had a solid experience with Tenecor.

You can find all kinds of bad reviews from any company if they have been in business long enough. I have 6 tanks from Glasscages, one that has been in use for over 5 years, and one tank made by Tenecor. I have never had any issues with either brand. A big GC glass tank weighs a ton, which can be a problem in some instances. Tank warranties are crap from almost any tank company. They are always loopholes in them to protect the company from potential a**holes looking to rip them off for a free tank. It ruins it for everyone.

I thought Glasscages had great customer service, they helped me through a lot of the process of dealing with shady shipping companies. They knew me by name and recognized me by voice by the end of the ordeal and vice versa.

Tank (500g's) was packaged extremely well and they refused to ship it for about a month because they wanted it to cure at their facility before even lifting it.

I personally did the stand with massive overbuilding done to support the 1200 pounds of glass above it.

I was impressed by Glasscages over all, and ignored a lot of reviews because people are dumb when it comes to supporting 1,000's of pounds of water correctly and it's often their own fault.

Only been a few months though, so I will let you guys know next year if my basement has been turned into a swimming pool. :)
