Well no but at least we accept the problem and try to find solutions. We can each make small changes, but especially make changes to large corporations that are spewing the industrial wastes, which is one of the biggest factors causing global warming I mean stuff like solar power for the common people is not feasible at this point in time, but at least we can recycle and stop buying products from companies that do mass pollution or deforestation

thats what i thought, so maybe we should call you a hipocrit. and the whole "stop buyin from the big companies" will never work, do you really think that these billion dollar companies are gonna be shut down due to a few people that stopped buying from them?

well I dont own a car or a home yet so I cant say I wouldn't buy one if I had the money and resources in the future.

At least I got the sense to acknowledge the problem and make as many personal changes as I can, unlike some people who try to sweep away their problems under the bed

And FYI there have been improvements made as a result of companies reducing emission, and there are a lot of info out there if you care to look them up. Im just going to cite the one that everybody in the world knows about--CFC aerosols( in refrigerators, ac, etc.) restriction was imposed way back in the 70's and look at its results. So yes, hiding under the bed wont help and things can be done If you learn to accept the problem first. I dont see what else there is to be said anymore.

And Timothy's balls is a crook.

Well if you actually did your research you will realize this is no chicken little scenario no matter how much you would like to think it is

Question: Do you believe that humans are directly resposible for the extinction of thousands of species of animals? There is no denying that. You can even see it here on MFK with the banning of FRTs, black rays, etc. I dont have the exact numbers but you guys should look into it

Natural evolution kills off many species of animals if it didn't the dinosaurs would have did more damage to the earth then we every could..
Its not a perfect world we have ever changing things that effect the climate , when a volcano erupts does this not effect temperature ,when the moon is full does this not bring a full tide ect..
I could go on for hours..
The truth of the matter I don't entirely believe we are responsible for what is happening and the media and industries are making millions off it.

i completley agree with that fishnutham. heres what i do to help the environment. i hunt and fish. therefore i eliminate goin to to grocery store every week. so theres my part in knockin out the big companies, lol

Well, let me ask you then. Do you drive a hybrid car? Do you have solar panels in your home? Do you recycle every piece of waste. Do you carpool?

I want a definite yes from you and everybody else out there that's so flipping concerned with global warming.
.

Thank you for asking. I don't drive a hybrid car and don't car pool, you are right. I don't own a car plain and simple. I just ride my bike fishing around around our lake or walk.:)

You are also right, that I don't have solar panels in my home. I chose to pay the power company extra to help them fund their wind driven power generators.

However, I do recycle.

Your arguments and questions stinks. Wake up and smell all that horse manure around you. :grinno:

please explain how the media and industry is 'making millions' from global warming.

if it is individuals or big corporations doing the dirty makes no difference, individuals work for the corporations. We are all involved , like it or not

The industry revolving around waste management is as crooked as it gets they love all the new laws put in place its one of the biggest industries in the world now ,in a nutshell think of all the economic benefits recycling creates theres grants, licenses, fees ,fines,oh my it goes on and on i couldn't even begin to tap into it.. Try taking a 40 yard waste box with mixed garbage to the dump and see
what happens it'll blow your mind.
I wish i could support this all but the truth i don't know how to provide that much info here.
The media probably boosted sales of billions of Newspapers just in the last month alone and lets not forgot all the shows on Discovery and TLC etc..This channels probably wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for peoples new interest in weather .

David I'm not looking to put you down.I have much respect for you and what you have done you are obviously intelligent person and creditable but maybe looking out side of your box helps, sometimes we become so passionate about what we love we tend to ignore simply truths that surround us..

So I think Al Gore is a con man and his pocket is breaking at the seams because he's riding the political train of MAN MADE global warming. And Scientist that recieve funds from someone wanting them to prove Man Made Global Warming what do you think there outcome is going to be............MONEY DRIVES.

and their are SCIENTISTS that have these veiws....

Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide

Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist.
