The average temperature over the entire planet has risen steadily since the industrial revolution. There are too many correlations with this to deny it.

The fun stuff is when you get into whether or not it will cause some sort of drastic climate change. Historically speaking, we are ready for another ice age. Get your parkas, yo.

I think we are definitely expediting the process. I've heard that it was posible that the North Pole could be ice free this year due to the lack of perma ice. I've also heard speculations that by 2100 the artic could be completely ice free.

Since when is the "arctic" not the north pole?

i believe its the Earths natural process, it will get hotter, then we will enter another Ice Age (our planet just came out of one not too long ago). But, im sure we arent doing it any favors either..

I think he was referencing the artic circle compared to the North Pole....
