Can you provide proof that animals are being killed for the sheer fact they cant find responsible homes? Other than propaganda. Unfortunatly dogs are over-populated, They have already became an invasive specie in Australia.

Peta isnt about something as petty as injecting color into the embryo of a fish. They have to resort to extreme measures because nobody, nor the government, takes what they say seriously. If you don't already know, the government is backed by big business. Honestly, who hasnt made a death threat, Or left a dead dog on somebody dinner table? ;D. They are resorting to non-violence which I give them respect for, But if you want to buy into media propaganda, then go ahead.

Government uses facts like "Ohhhhh Peta hides behind the first amendment", but thats what its there for. For people to voice their opinions. And you people calling them terrorists is just ad bad as the government saying Iraq is jealous of our freedoms. Complete corporate if you ask me.

Labeling these activist as terrorists, HA! Lets just destroy the first amendment, and be slaves to the media. I've gotten burnt for calling people brainwashed before, but jesus f-ing christ. ok so it seems that the poster who said I can't put these in my tanks in the UK was RIGHT. so I was wrong, whilst we can have the injected and dyed fishes we can have gen mod specimens. so thats and end to it. the only species I have seen so far (glowing) are danios, medaka, convicts and angels. so Maybe the guys who reported goldfish to me were mis informed. this is stupid, very stupid statement. im baffled as to how you draw these insane conclusions. for someone who admitted they dont know squat about PETA in post #34, you sure seem to support what you THINK they do.

.. a lil' bit of research goes a long way.. and I want pics of these nifty rabbit pigeons! They sound cool! on a side note.. I did see something about such goldfish in a online link in reguards to high-end aquariums on here a few days ago iir.. ? may wanna search for that if your curiouse. But.. The answers will come out! just takes abit of growling at eachother sometimes to get it done.

since 1998 PETA has taken in 27,478 pets. they have KILLED 23,640 of those pets. in 2009 alone they adopted out only 8 pets out of the 2,366 they took in.

can you give me a good answer as to why? why should they get to choose who can and doesnt get a pet? why should they choose what animals are adoptable and which ones arent? i just dont understand how ignorant some people can be to support this group. and trust me, you wont find many PETA supporters here. i think its safe to safe the majority of the board HATES this group.

Yeah, I am not down with PETA at all. I am an all around animal lover and have never had a dog that was not rescued from the pound

True, but this took many years of careful breeding to achieve the breeds we own today, not to mention it's debatable "ALL" dogs genetically stem from wolves. It was carefully and intentionally done.

Since clubbing a baby seal is an inhumane way of putting an animal down, Can't say I do. Do I eat cow, and wear leather? Yep. If it was all black and white your statements might have some actual standing. But it's not, Would I humanely end an animals life? yes, as I'de expect mine to be ended humanely if need be. That is after all one of the "defineing" things that make us human.

Walk into any local county humane society to get this proof. ( their are exceptions to this rule I'm sure. but I haven't seen any yet.) Their is a big difference between Feral animals and "Pets" The animals deamed pet quality are temperment tested.. the ones who do not pass this get euthanised.. so these animals ALREADY are culled if you will. I have a friend who's kid developed feline allergies, took it to the shelter. and the cat was euthanized w/out even informing her they where going to do it. less then 1 week after she brought it in.

No, Peta is about putting animals in such horrible conditions our children are mentally scared, or encouraged to do violance to animals. Showing the "clubbing" of a seal on TV was memorable, yes.. but filled me with disgust and loathing that Peta would stoop so low to get attention. Sounds like you need to stop drinking koolaid.
