Glowing Pink Angelfish!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If it helps the fish-keeping hobby and gets more people interested while not causing discomfort to the fish then Im cool with it

I dont know who said there not available in the U.S. but i see fish like this every week in my local shop. Its not a chain llike petsmart but its very small scale. If there here in ohio there def. all around the u.s.... Just some examples are "Jelly bean" parrots that come in pink, blue, purple, green, yellow and odd mixes. Glo-danios in green, yellow, pink and blue, "tuti-fruti" african clawed frogs colored like the rainbow lol. and the more stable glo-fish in neon green/yellow that are albino tiger barbs and assorted long fin tetras. I've owned the tuti-fruti frogs and they all eventually turn white once they grow larger so alot of the stuff is "dyed" i imagine but the glo-fish are def. genetically morphed. I dont see the problem, We eat genetically altered produce on a daily basis. I do not agree with the prices but to each their own. I think the whole thing is funny and you guys are racist to these new morphs lol....priceless

Ive seen the glo danios, barbs, and skirt tetras. But not the cichlids yet. Also i dont see a problem with these but i would not buy the dyed ones. Its a whole different procedure.

Glo-danios were created to help people find pollution in water and they are a huge success in bringing people into the hobby. So those are a win win. But the jelly bean parrots and tutifruti frogs and tattooed fish are a different story they are injected with dyes and hormones which may bring more people to the hobby but in the wrong way because half those fish die off or stunned growth or fade after a few years after living. just my 2 cents genetic glo danios, tetras, and barbs are all i have seen.
