JK? Why? I'm serious when I say, hopefully NOW! They had the perfect chance to get right back into the wildcard slot with 2 against Mil at home. So far, they got their asses handed to them 12-0 last night, and right now they're down 3-0 in the second game. Hell, I stopped watching last night's game when it was 5-0 GOING INTO THE 9TH......and they lost 12-0!!! WTF?! They have one of the most disappointing bullpens in existence. LaRussa can say all he wants about them not being as bad as everyone says, they suck....every last one of them. Even though the offense was nil. From a lifelong Cards fan, they're done. 
LOL, one of my regulars came into the bar this afternoon and said that he wore his Cards jersey for the last time this year. It's washed and put away until next year.
I'm with him. The bullpen came through like usual tonight. Springer.....Russ Springer.....how many walk off home runs DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE UP?!?!?! He's 38, so in baseball years, he's almost dead. Can him.
Milwaukee would still be the obvious favorite, but Houston is playing awesome!! They've ran all over every team above them not only in the wc, but in the division......including sweeping the Cubs! They've already passed the Cards, and are tied with Philly. They were very sub .500 not that long ago! Watch out for the Astros!
Went the the Cubs/Cards game on Thursday. Cubs win!!!

First off, Happy Anniversary, 100 years and counting, way to go!
I am sooo pissed the Cubbies are doing good. I have to many Cub fan buddies it makes me sick. I am in a real minority were I live, but go Cards.
The Cubs are good this year, I will give you that, but will sh*t the bed soon enough.
I see another D-Back repeat. 3 and done if they make it. The Astros look like last years Arizonia, what a hot streak.
The Cards, I think, are offically done. It sucks, but so does 38 freaking blown saves, 38. Fatty is looking like he will have elbow surgery, which totally sucks since it may mean 09' is done. Thats all for now.

38 blown saves, but you forgot the 30-some bullpen losses, too. Which is basically the same as a blown save, just earlier in the game. Way to go bullpen. I do believe those numbers are the worst in baseball by the way. Think of where they'd be if they had pitching.....
