You're going to need a larger tank than that for the goby. Guppies are not BW fish.

According to fishbase, guppies are found in brackish water as well as freshwater. Just like dragon gobies. Less domesticated strains I would think do better when kept in occasionally alternating fresh/brackish water.

Hello. I'm new to Monster fish keepers and I would like to know if this is even feasible. I've got a 50 gallon aquarium that I will be converting to a brackish water tank. It's got one HOB 45 gallon filter and one Internal 30 gallon filter. And a heater It will have PH neutral sand in it because my water hardness tests 8.0-8.2. I want it to have one Violet Goby and 3 Banded archers in it. Can I do this?

I would scrap the sand that messes with your pH, and just use tap water.

My tap is 8.0-8.2 and very highly buffered. Just be sure you have a curing bin/trashcan/tub to aerate your water while it dissolves the salts.

Maybe you could make your own post about this, so you can get better answers :)
