Wow that had to be an amazing journey! How was the travel? I often times hear that travel in poorer countries is a bit sketchy ie. old planes, etc.

small group, just 5 of us, 2 i have went to Africa before, and 2 people from England.

No, they have an international airport, so i got off the jet, and then i was picked up in a truck and drove for about 90 minutes to the lake.
all smooth and safe.

That's great, I wasn't sure what the travel would be like from South Africa. Have you considered going to other lakes? Are Tanganyika and Victoria as commercialized?
