Oh look… another poly ??… wife is about to have my head today! ??. Just my luck garnet i ordered 68 days ago shows up on the same day as a fish i tried to “sneak” in lol… dble nail in the coffin

… really gotta try and stop for a while ?. Hoping to spend some time redoing my 500 for these guys now. Hence all the sand… their current 230 will become the quarantine/grow out.
This garnet is worth every penny and the wait ??… love the dark burgundy ?… pics def. don’t do it justice. I’ll slowly be washing and adding it in. Still need to play with the lighting also but its a start.
Weekly shrimp fest from last night…Amazes me how much these little guys can pack it in…need to get back to washing sand ??…

What's your aquarium ph? If you want more colors, I find that they tend to color up more in higer ph water.
Thank you ??… have’t been here long yet… 6 days for the newest PBB lol… only been a few days for minimal sand aswell. Looking forward to fattening them all up and seeing the color progression with a full garnet bed. Appreciate the PH tip… i might b ok there by chance, my tap is consistent at 7.8-8… being on autodrips my tanks stay there as well.
After fattening these neubs up for 1-4 weeks i decided to hit them with a round of praziquantil powder. Happy i did ?… will def. Continue with the 2nd recommended treatment after a week. This pic is less than 24hrs after the 1st treatment. Quite large white worms being passed. Hope 2 treatments “cleans them out” well… Any other “precautionary” meds i should be using/looking into before i upgrade their tank?
