@pomatomus yeah his prices are pretty good and he has good quality fish, he is the guy i got my wild angels from and i was very happy with them

@aclockworkorange that is a gorgeous little dwarf! why sp of Laetacara is that?
 
It's not Laetacara. It's Ivanacara adoketa. Some say they need really soft water. Search the SA board -- there was a recent thread about them.
 
oh ok yeah its gorgeous, hey do you guys have any ideas on good vendors that aren't too expensive with their shipping that would have any apistos or dicrossus in stock? the vendor i was wanting to order form still hasnt gotten back to me and hasnt answered when i have tried calling more, and i dont really see too many of them on aquabid supplied by the same vendor... kind of tempted to just take the heater out of the tank and go native for awhile...
 
I think it's a great idea.

I have also kept wild apisto's in the past, and from what i remember, they weren't at all picky with pH, it was much more important that whatever the pH, it would be stable and more or less constant.

@pzyko ill have to give wetspot a look dont know why i didnt see their stuff before, are they pretty reliable? has somebody on here ordered from them before? that other website looks pretty good too ill have to email him for a shipping quote,

and yeah amazon tropical fish i think is scott arney and that is who i am trying to order from, but for some reason he isnt getting back to me, would rather order from him since iv done it before and fish were good and shipping wasnt too much and other member on here will prolly order with me then so we'l be able to share shipping costs, though he doesnt have any cacatuoides and i think i want to mainly have different color forms of cacatuoides and agassizi since they seem to be both the most hardy and the most colorful though for some reason there arent very many good pics on google of males of the other types of apistos...

He opened a store last year and hasn't been very active online since then. Might want to check out the store. PM me if you want his number.
