the jar gets beat on? that's interesting.

No, the Jar is the one doing the beating, it's in perfect shape.

ive seen it done online
and on this website
very rarely though
and i hear that ist very unsuccesful
i have a jar and silver
my jar is very docile by himself
but will attack at random
only the fastest fish can live with it
i mean fast
hope it works
its been a dream of mine
jsut that a silver aro here is 100 bux
plus!
so i find it hard to sacrifice that sort of fish

ok i probably wont do it i just saw the oppertunity to buy one and have hearing lately of jar and other aro communities working.

I am glad you decided against this, but truly, if you were doing the research didn't you see all the red flags everywhere saying how jars are aggressive?

I mean if someone has a dovii getting along in a tank now with other cichlids, that doesn't mean it will forever. You have to take in all the info and make a fair judgement. I think very few people have the capabilities to keep a silver and jardini together (even on this website).

People like Bderrick who have plenty of arowana experience and STILL don't do it, is probably a sign that it isn't a good idea. I mean think about it, they actually HAVE those size tanks and they still dont mix them together, and its for a reason.

Good move not mixing them together. It would have surely ended up in disaster.
