Going under the laser

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I paid a total of 3600, put 1800 down and financed the other half(12 months same as cash). Got 15% off from the company and then 5% after that for insurance. Normal price is 2249 each eye. The company I went with, Lasik Plus, has a life time guarantee. If my eye's change and they can fix it they will do it for free. Makes it worth the whole thing.

And yes I did look around, The other companys I talked to all had the same price but no LTG. Plus Lasik Plus is all over the US so if I move I can still find one to get it redone at if need be.

man, i would love to do this but i have other priorities.

my $2G's can go into other things that is more important to me. maybe after my loans are paid off

I have heard from some people that have done it that after a few years their vision starts to go again,............ is that true?

ya your eyes can still change, and after you turn 40 your eyes start to change no matter what is done. But thats why I went with lasik plus cause they have a life time guarantee, if my eyes change they fix it for free

I would look into getting this done, but 2 - 4 grand is a lot of money for someone who`s saving up and planning on going to college in the future (10 grand).

Maybe down the road when I`m hopefully a vet technician.

Sounds like a good deal, but the risk of complications increase exponentially with each laser procedure. Scar tissue is formed each time, be it ever so slight. Halos and dry eye being the most common P.I.T.A. complications, but there are others.

thats true, but its something that I may have to have done every 10-15 years.

Today sucked, woke up and was doing good. Had my 1 week followup and they told me I was doing great, and removed the protective contacts. But all day my eyes have gotten more and more blurry. I know its all part of the healing process but still sucks

I've never heard of these protective contacts.

they were just a non prescription conctact to help keep stuff out of my eye and they said they can help speed up the healing process. It was something they put on as soon as the surgery was done and then removed yesterday. Only bothered me when one tried to fall out, and that hurt like hell
