was considering purchasing one or the other. I have owned reds in the past and grew them to a decent size of about 10 inches so i am familliar with piranah. Are the gold diamond better looking or the black? Any general info would be apreciated. Would also like to know the average pricing for a small one of each type at around 3 inches.

everybody has their own opinions, so go with whatever one you like best. if you really want a diamond, you'll probably wanna buy a bigger one, because at three inches, there is a good chance that you will end up with something else.

i really do like the diamond look especailly you got really good light on the body breing out the color from it.

ok.. can anyone tell me the average pricing ? Cause the price difference between a 3inch and a bigger one is pretty steep from what im seeing.

unless you're gonna order from one of the online vendors, prices are really gonna depend on where you're located, for a 3" black rhom, i've heard people pay anywhere from $20 all the way up to $75 (it can also vary even more depending on collection point), for a smaller gold diamond, i've seen them anywhere from $50 to $150

thanks for the input i was looking into an online vendor. Their price was 65 dollars us for a 3 inch gold diamond. They have a phone number to call in orders but no one answers!!.....tried calling two days now, getting frustrated lol. So now i sent an email. Lets see if they respond to that or maybe they just dont wanna sell fish.. Are online vendors trust worthy ???

there are some very trustworthy vendors, which one are you trying to reach?

haha, aquascape is a good place to order from, but sometimes they can be a bit difficult to get ahold of... you'll be better off if you keep trying to call them rather then emailing.
