Gold Gourami Spawn

Every fish I've bred was an accident, I try not to let my fish breed - that is, I let the other fish eat the eggs because I can't be bothered with fry.

The last fish I raised were goldfish and they're all munted :( idk if its because their parents are munted or if I done something wrong (I'd never raised anything but convicts and guppys at the time) or a combination of the two, but since then I've decided to leave the breeding side of the hobby alone until I'm better situated financially and more mature mentally - I still have a LOT of maturing to do. :D

They sure are a lot of work. And a total commitment.

Since u have a outdoor pond why don't u add fish in it during the warm months? Fish like celestial danios, corydoras, glass catfish, longfin cherry barbs and mascara barbs all breed easy(u will have to bring them in in winter)

The reason I suggest this is u get better survivorship and colors in such ponds.

Oh my gosh...I could really do that? I have very big koi in the pond I have now but...I do have a smaller pond, plastic pre-formed, that I don't typically other than if I can get some fry out of the koi. I would love to have an outdoor "aquarium" in the summer months.

yes u can. U can also keep certain otherfish with koi in the warm months such as: most cichlid species(I recommend either good quality peacock cichlids or Central American cichlids like flower horns and firemouths depending on the type of water u have),longear sunfish, giraffe catfish,Chinese hi fin shark,Phoenix barbs, silver dollars, bala sharks and a lot of other awesome fish.
