i just wanted everyone to know how stoked i am cause im getting a gold nugget pleco in a week for only $15...they normally sell for $40 down here...and i might potentially pick up a vampire plceo...for $15 instead of the $50 they normally sell for down here...i love being the guy who orders fish for the lfs...I LOVE IT...so just wanted to let you all know how excited i am and ill post pics up as soon as i plop them into a tank...

Congrats.
When i first started at my lfs i went crazy and bought everything new that came on the lists. I now have a pair of a ton of different types. What is cool is that you can also cherry pick groups that come into get the most healthy one or an unusual looking one. I always inspected groups of plecs that came in because sometimes they just send you a phenomenal specimine. There are also frequently mistakes in the orders and i take home the free fish. I once got a beautiful adonis that way. Also, once we ordered a group of 3 vampire plecs which usually come in at around 3-4 inches and one came in at 8 inches for the same price so i had to have it for $17. Its an awesome feeling the first time you get things wholesale and its really hard to talk yourself into stopping. Its also so much harder to pay retail...

Great deal...I paid 40 bucks for one and it got eaten. Not as expensive as the electric blue jack dempsey my flowerhorn ate, but it hurt.

uh while we are on the topic...how much was your elec blue JD...i found some at another lfs for 150...deal or no deal...let me know what you think about the price while we all sit here and twiddle our thumbs waiting for my pleco(s)
Good price on the plecs, TERRIBLE price on the EBJD. The one I was looking at this week was only 22.49.
