From other readings I agree with this guy, brasiliensis live along side intermedius and I'm gathering intermedius are their closest relative.
They also change shape as the grow if what he says is true.
I've trawled through Google again. There is not a single reputed pic of a brasiliensis anywhere, even the dead one on the taxa sheets is the exact same image as the lac.
If the scale count is 38, it's not a hybrid? and the tongue is smooth it's gotta be a brasiliensis or new undescribed species.
