Here are a few pictures of him and a picture of one of the fry.

That is a great looking tank and green terror! How big are the fry?

For the last week I've been debating trading away my jack for a green terror, and these green terror threads keep coming up. I keep seeing how amazing they are and every one of the owners commenting on how much of a finger-chasing glass-banging lively fish they are. They are exactly what I wanted for my "wet pet" that I thought my jack would be, but it looks like the GT may be my best bet because I don't have a tank big enough to house a texas/amphilophus/oscar.

I had a 10 inch female jd before this male gold saum and I would rather have the gold saum. As I said before he will chase me from one side of the tank to the other and swims around constantly if you're in the room as if to show off.

Yeah, I feel the same. I ended up dropping the 4" dempsey off at my lfs because they had a really nice 6" GT. I figure its 1-1.5 years old so I still have a lot of time to enjoy it and watch it grow a few more inches. He ate in the first few hours and is already starting to flare up at people walking by!

I hope he turns out to be the wet pet you wanted. I know mine has turned into my favorite fish.
