nice pair i like that female... i have a question... whenever your female laid her eggs are they tanish clear color or were they brown like how they look in the picture???? mine just mated today but my eggs are like transparent almost???

Thank you. The eggs seem brown in the pics may be because the shots were taken at low light. For the first couple of days it will be a transparent/ translucent off-white colour...... beyond that, when the fry starts forming you can see a black spot in them. The completely white ones are dead eggs, which you should remove carefully by the tip of a tweezer.
So transparent means you got live eggs..... CONGRATS!!

I'll post some pics of the fries.... they are almost 2/3 inches now..... getting some colour too!

Gold based FHs are pretty common in my part of the world. Moreover I got the male (the one in my avatar) pretty cheap as the LFS guy thought it to be a Red Devil! : )
