I ended up taking the train to see the specialist,

I got a 10" Male FH Fader for $35.

He was one of the two most aggressive ones he had, and he's hefty in size so I'm pretty happy.

Currently have the tank light off and he's just getting used to the surroundings so I'll post a picture later tonight or tomorrow.

Hopefully he is as aggressive as he was back at the store

Grammodes(hopefully I spelled it correctly)? Aggressive as a Dovii, just a miniature version where you can keep it in that 80G for sure. If you want a dog like temper, flowerhorn is better to go with. If your talking about aggressiveness and glass banger in general, trust me there are other cichlids that does a hell of a better job at it.

I was actually looking into Grammodes, but the only way I could buy one was online.. and I was hoping to see it in person first.

There are so many debates on "which on is the most aggressive cichlid?" with so many different answers I just thought I'd see the fish and decide whether it was mean enough or not.

Out of like 20 FHs he had, only 2 of them fell into the category in my standard and I picked out the bigger/cheaper one

He's a little over 10"
Paid $35 CDN cash flat.. I think I got a wicked deal.
No idea what type he is.
No idea how old he is.
He's pretty shy right now actually, but it's understandable.
I'm sure he will come around to the jerk that he was at the store.

I also checked out the Golden Link (Just North of Downtown Pets in Chinatown Downtown) by my house earlier.
Golden Link had decent 2 FH for $190. (Downtown Pets has a Trimac for $200)
I could tell they were trying to rip me off because I couldn't speak his language.. or something. After I asked him a few questions he just got pissed at me so I left.. lol.

Cam's a real nice guy. Although it's a small mom and pop place, you only hear good things about him and the store.

Well considering what Cam's buddy Mike Hong sells his FH for http://www.topflowerhorns.com/ - I'd say that you got an excellent deal.
That fader on Mike's site for $250, is now on Kijiji for $180, but its kok has shrunk since it was imported.
